Jyotika Vijay
The painting process, for me, is often an experimental conversation rather than a meticulously planned approach. Each layer of paint is a response to the one before it, creating a dynamic dialogue between myself and the canvas.
I have been exploring various styles, techniques, and mediums, constantly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. As an artist, I believe that art provides the freedom to reveal one's imagination, observations, thoughts, and emotions. We can be our own inspiration. Among the many themes I explore, aerial views hold a special place in my work.
My subjects and sources of inspiration are deeply rooted in nature—its powerful elements, stormy compositions, planetary visuals, and humanity itself. This connection stems from keenly observing my surroundings and recognizing that humans, too, are intricate works of art, deeply intertwined with the natural world.
